Born and raised in New Zealand, Mark Berry serves as Head of Interpreter Training and Development at Sorenson and is now based in the UK, his fourth home. Coming from a deaf family and educated in a deaf school, he brings both professional expertise and lived experience to his work. Mark is a registered RSLI interpreter in BSL–ASL and holds WFD–WASLI international accreditation. Having lived in four countries and with proficiency in seven languages, he brings a global perspective to his work. With extensive experience across teaching, volunteering and community engagement, he is committed to connecting communities by bridging cultures and languages, and advancing inclusion across diverse and intersecting groups.
